After moving back home to Sydney, she worked for seven years in both private practice in regional and metro NSW and as a resident in public specialist paediatric and special needs dentistry departments at Sydney Dental Hospital. Zanab is passionate about the comprehensive dental management for people with special healthcare needs, is a strong advocate and believes they should receive the highest quality dental care. She combines her experience with both paediatric and adult patients with special healthcare needs, particularly as they transition to adult services and establish a lifelong dental home. Zanab continues to develop her knowledge and skills to help those people with disabilities and the most vulnerable of our population, and has completed a Diploma in Dementia Care.  After working in public dental services at Gosford Hospital, Zanab is excited to be improving access for people with special healthcare needs on the Central Coast.

In addition to her private practice work on the Central Coast, Zanab works in public as a consultant at Campbelltown Hospital with South Western Sydney Local Health District, managing patients with special healthcare needs including medically complex patients. Zanab thoroughly enjoys teaching and sharing her expertise and in addition to being a Fellow with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and member of the RACDS NSW/ACT regional committee; is an examiner for the Primary Dental Sciences Examination (Pathology) and an active member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Special Needs Dentistry, Australian Society of Special Care in Dentistry, Australian Dental Association and International Association of Disability and Oral Health.

When Zanab isn’t in the dental surgery, she spends her time with her family and friends and exploring (and indulging) in high teas and good food!
